This Georgian restaurant is named after the popular Russian comedy film "Mimino"as in the film everyone who comes here is met or served by a pretty air stewardess. The Restaurant consists of three halls; two of them are situated on the first floor. There are many photos of film actors on the walls. Everywhere are laid the field caps and badges as worn in the movie. Bright arrases, stain-glasses windows and national Georgian pots and pans finish the restaurant’s Georgian interior. There is a fireplace in the main hall and a small comfortable bar. Downstairs is situated a small VIP-hall.
"Mimino" is famous for its Khachapuri and Shashliks. The Chef has managed to masterfully adapt the Georgian national cuisine to the tastes of Ukrainian fans of Caucasian traditions. The Suluguni, Immiretian, Guda cheeses and Spices are delivered here right from Georgia as well as the sauces: the cherry-plum Tkemali, the pomegranate Narsharab and the fiery Adjika.
The Chef roasts the sucking-pig Gochi just like he does it in his hometown Telavi. For each kind of shashlik - whether beef, pork, lamb, or chicken - the chef has his own secret marinade. Georgian Coffee is served here with the Churchkhela (walnuts in honey and grape juice) and the Samotkhe (prunes stuffed with walnuts, honey, and lemon juice). We do recommend you to taste the specialty of the house - the Walnut Cake.
